COMPOUND is privacy-first by design. Your fitness data — workouts, journal entries, documents, and insights — is stored on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We don't have servers to transmit it to.
Almost nothing. Here's the full list:
That's it. No analytics SDKs. No tracking pixels. No fingerprinting.
All of the following is stored exclusively on your iPhone and never leaves your device:
COMPOUND's AI features use Apple's Core ML framework. All machine learning models run locally on your iPhone's neural engine. No fitness data is sent to any cloud service, API, or third-party provider for AI processing.
If you have iCloud backup enabled on your iPhone, your COMPOUND data may be included in your device's encrypted backup. This is managed by Apple through your personal iCloud account — we have no access to it.
You can export all your COMPOUND data at any time in CSV, JSON, or PDF format. Your data is yours — always portable, never locked in.
COMPOUND can read from and write to Apple Health with your permission. This data exchange happens on-device through Apple's HealthKit framework. We never see, access, or store your Apple Health data.
COMPOUND does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to anyone.
COMPOUND does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Our commitment to privacy-first design will never change.
